I wonder, total conjecture of course, but fun to do so, whether this new openness to discussing this is a calculated effort by those in the intelligence community who are aware there are confirmed sightings (or even communications/contact) to start unveiling some of this information in a deliberate way so that they can get the public "ready" for more public contact with alien races. We can speculate about all kinds of stories around this in regards to an alien civilization requiring help that would not be forthcoming with their presence being secret, or perhaps we've developed a complex enough view of what alien life could be via science fiction ( not just ugly monsters from outer space bent on our destruction/slavery), that the aliens felt we were "ready" to build towards a day in the not too distant future where they would be able to contact us publicly without throwing our world into chaos, etc.

The idea would be that starting to reveal some things and then more over time, would "ease" the public into the reality such that they would not be very shocked when actual first contact was made/revealed, and panic, which seems to be the fear on some people's part. It would also allow the authorities to gouge reaction over time so as to modify how/when the revelations could proceed.

All very fun and interesting to speculate about! :)

Everyone (governments, the media, academics, Hollywood, advertisers, political parties across the globe, etc) will be watching to see what the report says and the worldwide public’s reaction (if any).

Will Hollywood/Netflix fast track Space Force movies/series?

Will this give insight into how different groups process/try to fill in gaps when presented information that could simultaneously be incomplete, critical, and entertaining?

Will there be left vs right positions on UAP in the US, or will opinions cut across the divide or even bring us together?

Will other countries step up and provide UAP answers or cases?

Will there be a Storm Area 51 part dos, with night vision, port-a-potties, book advances and movie rights?

Will we be able to buy the tee shirt or will we shift how we feel about our place in the universe, much less the planet?

Wonder what difference it makes—one way or the other—since currently we do not know??!

Isaac,

I thoroughly enjoyed today's unique Newsletter on the topic of UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon)! It truly is an intriguing topic for consideration and discussion.

I look forward to your new Newsletter to balance out my quest for deeper political and cultural understanding with a less stressful and equally interesting subject matter. 😊
