I like your idea to link to Ground News’s pages that summarize each story and allow you to see the difference in how various news sources are covering it. I've been looking at Ground News a lot -- thanks for that recommendation!

SO glad to hear it!

A part of what I appreciate about Tangle is that it includes *good faith* arguments for the major perspectives (and for any major social issue, there really are good faith arguments on both sides). These days, it seems like many sites do the opposite, and instead take the crazy/fringe views of the "other" side and say, "this is representative of everyone on that side. Those people are nuts, and terrible, right???"

No better place to consume news than Tangle. CNN? Fox News? Eh, not a chance. Just clickbait and echo chambers. But Tangle? This is honest and legit journalism. Keep it up Isaac & Team!

Congratulations Isaac. I've been reading since January this year and, as intended, Tangle has broadened my perspective. You are doing great work! From day 1, your 4-section core format is brilliant and refreshing. Keep it simple.

I am a new subscriber and have not been disappointed. Particularly like your content on what the “Right” and “Left” are saying. While I sometimes feel like screaming (actually I do on occasion) in reading the perspective of the “Right”; your newsletter keeps me better informed about tat perspective in a manner that I can manage and tolerate. Keep up the good work. Going to buy your coffee mug so I can start each day with a more open mind. Be well.

We started reading in early 2020 and I remember feeling incredibly grateful for the newsletter amidst the chaos of the coronavirus pandemic, the racism pandemic we’re all still fighting, and absolute shitshow of an election that we had that year.

I felt I always had ‘weird’ views that didn’t seem to align with what I was hearing on the news - and especially from family members that followed that news. I hated politics because I felt I could never express my views well and back them up with actual facts and knowledge from the political world. So, I would stay quiet during discussions or arguments and just brush it off.

But then - Tangle helped me find my voice. You offered resources and facts to back up points and open conversations, giving me the gift of being more confident in speaking my mind and feeling more informed than I had in my adult life.

Thank you, Isaac & Tangle Team - for giving this girl the gift of having a voice and feeling like her opinion matters.

First, congratulations Issac on two years of Tangle! I've been reading Tangle for about a year now, and enjoy it daily. My favorite section, is the 'By the Numbers' section - Concise, factual, direct, as news should be. Keep it up!

"on the wrong end of racism" - not to nitpick what I'm sure was a well-intentioned idiomatic phrase here but... sort of implies that being racist would be the "right side" to be on.

More importantly, thank you for your daily writing! I take my lunch breaks right as they come out and read them while I have my little sandwich.
