Instead, others groped in vain to find a zoonotic intermediate host (can anyone share a recipe for serving pangolin?) while pretending it to be mere coincidence that the Wuhan lab (unique in China and reported earlier to be lax on safety) was ground zero for infection.
Here are the facts: Virologists specializing in bats harvested the virus from an unused mine shaft in SW China and brought it a thousand miles to Wuhan, where there are no bats, for gain-of-function research partly funded by Fauci through NIH. Staff at the Wuhan lab came into contact with the virus, after it had been genetically modified in specific ways now known, and got sick. They spread it first through the neighborhood, then across the country, and then around the world. China ruthlessly suppressed every investigation or inquiry while blatantly lying about it.
As I commented here months ago, this makes China morally and legally responsible for millions of deaths and trillions of dollars in damages. That cannot be allowed to happen, obviously. What we will see, instead, is demands for "proof" that will become increasingly impossible to satisfy, along with the usual charges of racism.
Along with more of the same in the media, both social and mainstream, where censorship and propaganda is just business as usual.
