Hands down the best coverage of gun violence that I have ever seen, anywhere. One question remains: To curb gun violence, why not start with movies, TV, and video games? Which contributes more to this problem, the AR-15? Or John Wick?
Most psychological studies evaluating this find no (or, more interestingly, slightly negative) correlations between violence and movies / TV / video games. The variable that correlates best with violent criminality is poverty, so if we are going to start somewhere, it should probably be with helping to uplift the poorest members of our community by improving education and social programs so that crime is a less seductive alternative.
