Every person I know that is receiving unemployment and not going back to work cannot find childcare that is affordable. They would love to work but the jobs that are available do not pay enough to cover their living expenses and childcare. The states that are eliminating federal subsidy for unemployment are only causing more problems for people who are in relatively dire states. It will not cause people to take crappy jobs with crappy pay. It will just cause people to either lose their homes or not eat...or leave their children locked at home with no childcare so they can pay their rent and buy food.

Growing up in a border town in the US next to Mexico jobs paid .45¢ per hor when minimum wage was $1.25 per hour. Tough situations are good, they make you stronger. Today's current situation is NOTHING compared to yesteryears. crappy jobs with crappy pay is a good incentive to persevere and grow in many aspects of life.
